National Media Associate

The National Media Associate supports and assists in managing assigned accounts and client plans for national video and audio media across linear and non-linear channels. As a key member of the Investment team, you’ll use your sharp eye for detail, affinity for numbers and ability to clearly communicate across a variety of levels and channels to steward national media plans, manage custom content integration and cross-platform deals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • RFP and evaluate media partners for adherence to buy specs and timelines
  • Assemble and maintain detailed negotiation materials for analysis
  • Track historical CPMs, partner shares and performance
  • Assist in drafting buy recommendations for planning and client teams
  • Upload original and revised EDI plans from partners into agency buying/finance software
  • Enter, steward and maintain schedules in agency buying/finance software
  • Work with Planning and Account teams to build and enforce timelines
  • Work with team members to ensure timely creative clearance and traffic delivery
  • Analyze and respond to makegoods and ADU offers
  • Maintain relationships with vendor partners
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies in a timely manner and communicate issues quickly
  • Pull data from buying database on request to aid in billing and client requests
  • Track partner deliveries and ensure timeliness of ADU fulfillment

SKILLS

  • Partner relationships across all national media platforms
  • Experience working with advanced TV platforms (programmatic, addressable, OTT, VOD) and advanced targeting preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Nielsen ratings/impression and media math knowledge a must
  • Agency buying software, preferably Media Ocean
  • Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of national media experience, in an agency or client-side
  • B.A., or equivalent education and/or work experience with an emphasis in advertising/marketing a plus
