Presentation Specialist

The Presentation Specialist builds strong client relationships through the development of effective marketing and advertising strategies via software technologies such as PowerPoint. Works with clients and presenters to create PowerPoint/Keynote presentations that will clearly express the information the client/agency wants to get across while also appealing to the audience aesthetically and persuasively.

RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Client/Agency Relationships

  • Maintain effective working relationships and work directly with all client personnel who interface with the agency
  • Ensure agency work meets or exceeds client’s and agency’s quality standards, is presented in a professional manner and is delivered in a timely fashion
  • Act as support for the agency’s new business efforts
  • Become an expert in the client’s business (including company business goals and audiences, objectives, products, trends, category’s visual language, etc.) 

Conceptual Design

  • Create and manage PowerPoint/Keynote design and formatting, able to appropriately edit content as needed
  • Coordinate and develop integrated creative presentations/decks for client review
  • Manage the presentation and make revisions through completion
  • Clearly understand project’s design criteria
  • Align design decisions with strategy and objectives of the agency/client organization
  • Aware of new cultural trends and professional design conversations/issues
  • Continually aware of and/or use new technologies and techniques

Overall

  • Represent the agency’s mission, capabilities and goals accurately, be mindful and respectful of specific role and responsibilities
  • Understand the concept of strict deadlines and recognize the commitment to complete projects on time, whatever it takes
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to be flexible when situations demand
  • Demonstrate an ability to work with many different departments and personalities
  • Maintain high level of professionalism in all internal and external communication including email and voicemail correspondence, etc.
  • Record expenses and billable time completely and accurately on a weekly basis

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Demonstrated ability to handle high stress situations with effective results
  • Proficient in complete suite of Microsoft Office software, PowerPoint essential
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional
  • Experience with PNG, JPEG, GIF, EPS and other image file types
  • Keynote experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in marketing, advertising or computer graphics technology
