Social Media Coordinator

We're in need of an incredibly motivated, hungry and self-directed person who is an experienced and passionate social media expert.

In this role, you'll be managing and growing national level social media channels for one (or more!) of our clients' brands. Whether defining strategy, being the actual voice of the brand, ideating creative ways to break through on social platforms, identifying influencers or partners for campaigns or initiatives, or pitching new social platforms, you not only get social media, you have a track record for implementing smart social programs across a variety of channels with proven results. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Support

  • Prepare meeting agendas, status reports, content calendars and strategic recommendations
  • Partnering with strategy to translate strategy for brands across individual social channels
  • Ideating and executing social media initiatives and campaigns across a variety of platforms alongside creatives
  • Think critically about the impact and results of those initiatives and provide insight and analysis accordingly
  • Work with project manager and account teams to insure timely, accurate delivery on all client jobs
  • Perform other duties from time to time to meet the changing needs of the agency

Listening & Analysis

  • Conduct social media listening reports using both paid and free tools 
  • Analyze social media efforts and recap effectiveness in market
  • Track competitive communications and prepare analysis as needed
  • Help provide insights for paid media campaigns alongside media team

Communication

  • Work to integrate social media activities into  agency capabilities whenever possible
  • Recommend action plans as needed
  • Notify project managers/producers and account management of problems affecting quality, delivery or budgets
  • Stay up-to-date on social platform updates and trends and share in a concise and relevant manner to clients and team members

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE     

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field
  • 1-3 years experience in social media and related digital marketing
  • Experience using and executing campaigns on social media and blog platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills including proficiency in use of English language, writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced online environment
