SEO & Web Analytics Lead

  • Develop and implement SEO campaigns, strategies and initiatives
  • Collect and interpret web analytics to support data-driven digital design 
  • Guide the implementation of analytics tracking mechanisms for client web sites
  • Assist client teams in developing SEO strategies and programs that meet client business goals and KPIs
  • Conduct keyword research and organic search analysis
  • Create client-bound research and execution documents
  • Research and implement linking strategies
  • Work with brand copywriters to affect content for web
  • Create monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports per client’s business specs
  • Conduct and implement multiple page-level optimizations per client’s business needs
  • Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives
  • Maintain expertise on analytics and search engine news and trends
  • Drive and execute on the day-to-day SEO operations with KPI and goal accountability (traffic, leads, and revenue) by monitoring and reporting performance to the team
  • Execute SEO best practices ensuring alignment with Brand Marketing initiatives
  • Brainstorm further SEO projects (relating to technical changes, content, UX, social media, PR, etc.)
  • Act as an SEO expert by staying abreast of the evolution within the search and digital marketing industry that impact SEO and other marketing channels.
  • Brainstorm further SEO projects and evaluate website code, develop proposals for changes to site code in both the front and backend, and manage UX/QA processes around proposals
  • Produce regular reporting, contribute to strategic planning and performance management that aligns with business goals


  • 3+years of tactical and strategic experience in SEO (search engine optimization) either in-house or agency environments 
  • Possess a BA/BS in Marketing, English, Journalism, Business or related discipline 
  • Have a passion for connecting queries to content and a commitment to driving user-empathetic digital experiences
  • Understand how to write for both users and search engines
  • Have a proven record of page placement and website optimization success
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Creative and analytical thinker, comfortable with data driven decision making 
  • High level of attention to detail, striving for flawless execution
  • Stellar time management skills
  • Enjoy working with a great deal of autonomy and are unafraid of ambiguity
  • Strong organizational skills, you like being able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure, within tight deadlines and with a variety of teams to coordinate the delivery of SEO assets in a fast pace environment
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating with other departments
  • Have a working knowledge of web analytics and SEO tools
  • Proficiency with some or all of these tools and platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, BrightEdge, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Searchmetrics, Screaming Frog, SEM Rush, and Moz. 
  • Ideally have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java Script
