Connected Experience Architect

This role is an interactive customer experience practitioner supporting the digital experience design needs of the organization.  As a key member of Periscope project teams, this individual is responsible for serving as thought leader and scope-owner for interactive projects. This unique role involves critical thinking, creative problem-solving, teaching, scoping, and producing.  Each project is unique and this Strategist is a resourceful unicorn who can tap on his/her unique experiences to create innovative and practical solutions from scratch.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work as ambassador for the team’s capabilities while assessing scope and feasibility definition for new projects.
  • Define business goals for a new project and translate them into behavioral goals for an experience.
  • Conduct stakeholder analyses to create user profiles.
  • Identify learning needs/methodology for executing a project and engage research appropriately.
  • Craft creative and experience briefs and conduct teach-outs for discipline leads at project kickoff.
  • Create workflows and initial wireframes where appropriate, or commission and lead this work from partner practitioners.
  • Collect and/or commission data and perform analysis as it contributes to decision-making on scope direction.
  • Work with development and client teams to obtain necessary business and technical requirements as they input to project strategy and information architecture.
  • Build a network with cross-functional teams and third party resources in order to constantly strive for for efficiency and innovation.
  • Where appropriate, develop initiative-specific strategic roadmaps/backlogs and provide guidance to prioritization of project aspirations.
  • Where appropriate, contribute to scope definition and estimation for contracting.
  • Help lead the way in teaching project team members how to translate your vision into activation and project plans for execution.
  • Participate in production to bring your ideas to life, asking crucial questions and keeping track of progress towards delivery.
  • Identify appropriate team members for new initiatives, keeping in mind
  • Identify and manage portfolio of 3rd party agencies and partners to provide external resources and expertise to digital experience Initiatives.
  • Partner with New Business to identify and pitch ideas and opportunities for growing existing clients and acquiring new.
