Director, Analytic Solutions

We’re looking for a Director, Analytic Solutions to join our team! This results-oriented person acts as a partner to our client management, strategy and media teams, identifying opportunities to utilize analytic solutions to solve critical client business challenges. The Director leads efforts to define client needs and craft solutions that incorporate knowledge of business strategy, data strategy, media and marketing technology, and advanced analytic processes.   This person will drive execution against client specific analytic deliverables, as well as driving internal product development and participating in new business initiatives. The Director guides more junior team members in developing critical business thinking and problem-solving skills through an analytic lens, leading them in deriving customer and business insights from multiple consumer data sources, and acts as a subject matter expert in analytic techniques and the appropriate use of modeling, reporting and data visualization delivery tools.


  • Work closely with our client management and strategy teams, analyzing client business context and working to identify opportunities to apply analytic solutions, and develop customized insight-driven strategies and solutions.
  • Act as primarily liaison with our Media department to plan and measure media campaigns across traditional and digital channels, utilizing deep knowledge of digital marketing to help optimize results.
  • Provide thought leadership around emerging marketing technologies such as blockchain, identity resolution and people-based marketing, and advanced analytic concepts, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, and their application to client challenges.
  • Scope analytical projects in terms of resources and time required from beginning to end of project.  Provide analytic project management and  project/client P&L management.
  • Prepare analytic briefs including specification of appropriate methodologies and data sources and uses, and expected outcomes and KPI’s, to solve client business challenges.
  • Manage team of analysts across multiple clients. Act as primary contact for project definition and provide quality assurance for deliverables of the team, including guiding analytic approaches and providing hands-on effort as appropriate, and reviewing and presenting outputs.
  • Consult on design and creation of marketing metrics reports and management dashboards for multiple clients including data visualization, and results interpretation. 
  • Guide junior analytic team members in their use of tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and other digital measurement and reporting tools to analyze website, campaign and social media performance.
  • Develop hypotheses and design campaign test structures.
  • Present findings and recommendations verbally with clarity to internal and external audiences, including C-suite executives.

Provide thought leadership  for agency PR, execution of new business projects and internal company initiatives.

  • 10+ years progressive experience in media and marketing analytics, including planning and execution of direct response programs across digital and traditional channels.
  • 3+ years of leading a team of 3 or more marketing analytics professionals.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex marketing data results with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly frame perspectives/approaches and define solutions to business challenges.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field.  MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience with digital analytics concepts, including performance marketing/attribution, testing/optimization, personalization, cross-device identify resolution, tag management, online audience and campaign management, SEO/SEM and social and mobile analytics.
  • Expertise in using analytic tools, including Omniture/Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SAS, SQL, and Tableau, to support analysis, reporting, forecasting, and development of statistical models.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office tools (VBA a plus).
  • Experience with ad-tech concepts including programmatic buying, DMP/DSP, social media management, and BI and visualization tools, including Tableau, a plus.
